Chicago

Chicago is one of my favorite cities. It’s a perfect combination of hustle and bustle with splashes of architecture and history.

Sights and Activities
The Bean- Next to Willis Tower, this is a must see since it is the iconic definition of Chicago. Warning: it is dirty, so don’t lick the bean! Head south down Magnificent Mile and you will come across Magnificent Park, which is home to the Bean.
Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise
Chicago Water Tower
Museum of Science and Industry– Three floors of hands on science and learning. Allocate about two hours here. They currently also house the U-505 submarine on the lower level.
Shopping- All along Michigan Ave., also known as the Magnificent Mile, you will find department stores of all kinds. Shop until you drop!

Where to Stay
My friends price lined hotels on Magnificent Mile and hit the jackpot. Since most of the hotels on the mile are at least 4 stars, we didn’t have a bad experience at any of the hotels; we stayed at 3 different hotels. Do note that the hotels are very old so the rooms are small. When they “upgrade” your room, it means you get an extra foot of space.
